Pixel Polyglot is made by LastLap Lab LLC ("we"). This policy covers the Pixel Polyglot app for iPhone and iPad and this website.
The app does not collect, store or send any personal information. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking of any kind. It works completely offline.
WHAT WE COLLECT
Nothing. The app never connects to our servers or anyone else's. We don't know who uses it, how, or when.
YOUR PROGRESS
Your chosen language, goals, skill level, settings, XP, streak, high scores and how well you know each word are saved only on your device, in the app's own storage. They are never uploaded. You can erase them at any time from Setup > Erase all progress, and deleting the app deletes them too. If you back up your device with iCloud or your computer, Apple's backup may include this data like any other app's; we can't see it.
SPOKEN WORDS
When the app reads a word aloud, it uses the text-to-speech voices built into your device's operating system. The speech is generated on the device; the app sends nothing to us. The app does not use the microphone.
THIRD PARTIES
The app contains no third-party analytics, advertising or tracking code, and shares no data with anyone, because it has none.
THIS WEBSITE
This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics. It loads its fonts from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address as part of delivering them, under Google's privacy policy. Our host may keep standard server logs for security and reliability.
CHILDREN
Pixel Polyglot is suitable for all ages. Because it collects no data from anyone, it collects no data from children.
YOUR RIGHTS
Wherever you live (including under the GDPR and California law), you have rights over personal data a company holds about you. We hold none, but if you have any question or request, write to us and we'll answer.
